Sports Massage Therapy
Sports massage therapy is beneficial not just to the professional sports men and women, but to those who are recovering from injury occuring in their everyday lives.
It is also greatly used by people with back pain, aching muscles or some who just want to treat themselves to a massage.
The benefit of Sports Massage is the improvement to tissue condition which will reduce muscle stiffness, pain and fatigue, increasing flexibility and range of movement. As excess tension is relieved and hypotonic muscles are stimulated, improved balance between muscle groups will be gained and greater postural awareness will develop.
Where dysfunction is present, massage can improve the speed and quality of soft tissue repair through effective treatment and post-care advice.
