Rostherne House, a beautiful, Grade 2 listed, Victorian dwelling House offers long, and short-term, overnight accommodation to visitors exploring Cheshire. This is the ideal retreat at the end of a busy day. The house and grounds are completely secluded and, although the service is entirely professional, you’ll find a real, ‘home from home’ which offers every conceivable comfort to enable you to rest, relax and unwind. Each of the rooms is furnished in its own unique style. Each bed features an impressive hand-carved headboard, whilst the mattresses are chosen with the comfort of guests in mind. During weekdays the house is used by visitors and also by a number of corporate clients (some of whom also hold their ‘team building‘, ''product launches'' or ‘away days’ here). At weekends, guests often arrive purely to get away from the stress of modern life or to enjoy the numerous facilities and activities offered at the nearby Tatton and Dunham Estates. (A number of day, evening and weekend courses are also regularly arranged - Please see our website for more information. Rostherne is extremely well-located for guests who may be travelling from the motorways, or to and from Manchester Airport, whilst secure car parking facilities may also be arranged nearby. Afternoon tea, or award-winning meals, using locally-sourced ingredients, can be served by arrangement. (A nutrition expert is on the premises if special dietary requirements are required). Alternatively there’s a local country pub, or numerous fashionable restaurants in the nearby villages of Hale and Knutsford - both just a stone''s throw away. Prices are from £59.50 to £95 per night, including continental or full-English breakfast. (Other beverages, meals or snacks should be booked in advance and are priced separately). Cancellation policy: Normally 1 week in advance, if possible. Facilities: Complimentary tea and coffee in each centrally-heated room. Wi-fi / Broadband. Colour televisions. Ironing facilities, hair-dryers, etc. on request. Secure off-road car parking. Airport transfers by arrangement. (If you are boarding pets, please ask for local kennel arrangements). Note: Guest Pass arrangements have been made with the local gym, beauty salon and spa (two minutes'' drive away). Alternatively, ask for a list of in-house therapy treatments. Golf – You may also play golf by arrangement, for an additional charge (Mere Golf and Country Club, or the championship course at Portal). Rostherne House is ideally situated for touring. Chester and Manchester are only 20 minutes away and the ''Big Six'', i.e. Arley Hall, Tatton, Lyme Park, Dunham Massey, Capesthorne Hall and Gawsworth are also very close by. The oldest timber-framed church in Europe, Little Moreton Hall, Clonter Opera, and the Cinnamon Club (dubbed ''the Ronnie Scott''s of the North'' by the Manchester Evening News) are all less than ½ hour''s drive away.
