Katie Marshall?s company myBodyBalance provides group and one-to-one pilates classes and individual physiotherapy and acupuncture sessions to provide an holistic approach with the aim to improve posture and correct musculoskeletal dysfunctions, muscle imbalances and movement patterns, all in the wonderful surroundings of Kensington Close Hotel, easily accessible from Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Kensington and Notting hill.
A BSc in Anatomical Science from Bristol University and a first class degree in physiotherapy from Kings University provided a solid background from which Katie has developed. She has since gained valuable experience working in the NHS which has provided her with well-rounded view of patient care, enabling her to holistically address patient?s problems. Specializing as a neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapist, Katie has treated a mixed caseload of patients with both acute and chronic conditions through gym-based rehabilitation, acupuncture and manual therapy.
Katie has also widened her skills by studying with APPI as a Pilates instructor and has gained experience teaching in a private, duet and group basis and has taught Matwork classes at all levels from beginners to advanced. Katie tailors every workout to her clients'' needs depending on their experience and current condition and uniquely has carried out specialized classes for clients with low back pain. Katie easily recognizes the capabilities of her Pilates students to challenge them, make it fun and take them a step further.
