Ros Welch Counselling and Psychotherapy

Unexpected change can be difficult to manage, it can be hard to think straight given the busy lives we lead, trying to make sense of the unpredictable can leave us anxious, stressed and angry. Life’s changes; redundancy, bereavement, loss, illness or broken relationships can leave us in tatters and Counselling can help you on your journey to acceptance. Irrational thoughts and low self esteem plague many of us, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help you recognise how your emotions affect your thoughts and behaviours; challenging and adapting beliefs to enable healthier thinking; helping you recognise your strengths and weaknesses, to maximise your potential, determine your priorities and construct achievable steps to attain your goals. Psychotherapy is a process of discovery, of self-awareness and therapeutic change, using a mixture of interventional skills to gain an alternative perspective on why you do what you do and why you are who you are; how this affects your relationships, and your behaviour. I use all my skills of counselling, coaching and psychotherapy to help you develop self knowledge, see new perspectives and be the person you want to be.
