Support in Hand provides a variety of services to assist people in their own homes, retaining existing choice of lifestyle whilst enabling them to retain their independence. We provide our service to people over the age of 18. The service we offer is between 8.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. In addition to this we are able to provide temporary weekend visits and a night sitting service. Our aim is to provide a service, focusing on you as a person to meet your needs in a flexible and professional way to support you in your home environment. Our service is available to adults with a supporting need as well as busy professionals. Services we Offer: • Housework • Companionship - Reading, listening, chatting, social activities • Shopping - Collecting pension/benefits/prescriptions/grocery/retail • Cooking - Meal preparation • Socialising - Trips, visiting friends, excursions • Laundry • Ironing • Spring Cleaning • Day/Night sits for company, social well being and reassurance. • Administrative assistance - Letter writing, making telephone calls, filling forms• Any additional needs would be discussed at the initial visit *Please note, we do not provide a personal care service.
