Run by an experienced female instructor with a trauma-informed approach, Defence4Women offers group and 1-1 sessions in self defence and martial arts for women and girls across the East Midlands. By using martial arts to aid trauma recovery, the courses utilise the power of martial arts and self defence skills with a specialist understanding of healing trauma, to promote both healthy aggression and help with the freeze and dissociation responses to threat.
