There are mixed weekly classes suitable for all levels, ages, shapes and sizes in South Gloucestershire. These are aimed at improving posture, flexibility and strength. By focusing on combinations of both movement and breathing these classes will help you achieve improvements in both your physical and emotional well being: increasing flexibility; helping to reduce stress; boosting energy levels - stretching and strengthening body and mind. Many of us will have experienced back pain at some point and we currently run 2 weekly courses designed specifically for back care on Mondays and Thursdays in Chipping Sodbury. These classes are ideal for people living with, or recovering from, back pain who are looking to use yoga movements to take control of their back health. The design of the six-week course introduces easy to follow yoga that focuses on re-establishing core stability, freeing your spine, improving posture and re-establishing muscular balance. You may be interested, or know someone who might be, in a Gentle Yoga class. This class is ideal for active older adults and people recovering from injury or illness who want to use gentle yoga movement to increase flexibility, boost energy levels and reduce stress in a safe and guided environment. The design of the class introduces easy to follow yoga that focuses on taking your time, freeing your spine, improving posture and bringing mobility to your joints, muscles and whole body. The classes are taught in a way that enables everybody to participate. You’re in charge and you take it to whatever level that suits your body, this can mean doing some of the class sitting in a chair.
